Integrate your SocialEngine member list with the Skysa Web Bar

Skysa Web Bar

The Skysa Web Bar is a footer bar that appears at the bottom (or top!) of every page of your website. The Bar allows you to add a variety of applications to your website quickly and easily. The bar is loaded via javascript and all applications run on Skysa's server, meaning there is no maintenance requirements or server overhead (ideal for chat functions which usually take a lot of server resources). (Please note that we are not affiliated with the Skysa Web Bar. We have only developed the integration widget to use their services.)

Applications

There are currently 32 applications which may be added to the Skysa Web Bar.  The applications include Announcements, Comments, Games, RSS Feeds, Like (Facebook), Share (Facebook, Twitter, etc.), Translate, Chat, Video Chat, and Instant Messages.  Visit the Skysa Web Bar website for full details on applications available.

SocialEngine Integration

The Skysa Web Bar Integration Widget available on this page allows Skysa to use your SocialEngline membership list for certain apps, most notably Chat, Video Chat, and Instant Messaging. When utilizing the widget, your members will see the names and profile pictures of other members in Chat, Video Chat, and those currently online for sending an Instant Message. Instructions for utilizing the widget are included with the download.

New in v4.0.1 of the Widget

You can now use the Skysa Friends IM App. This will allow you to see which friends are online and send them an instant message!  (Please note that this app works with SocialEngine even though the Skysa website says that the Friends IM App only works with the Spruz networks.)
